My Thai Lacquers follows a long Vietnamese tradition of lacquer ware production, whose roots in our home village of Duyen Thai date back over 250 years. My Thai Lacquers has elegantly combined traditional styles and materials with modern designs and production methods to produce a stunning array of goods. Our skilled staff and artisans produce hand crafted bowls, plates, trays and vases made of bamboo, wood, pottery and composite.
My Thai Lacquers is a family owned and operated enterprise established in 1993 by Mr. Do Van Thuan and managed by his two sons. Located in the quiet country side, surrounded by lush green rice patties dotted with water buffalo slowly plowing new farm plots, My Thai Lacquers has grown from a small in-home business to an international exporter with three factories. My Thai Lacquers provides full product support from custom designs to labeling, packaging and shipping. At our main office showroom samples of past designs crowd the shelves. We produce over a thousand new designs every year, and as time passes the showroom becomes increasingly full.
Since the first year of operations, My Thai Lacquers has expanded production from 10,000 pieces per year to over 13 million. Our production team has grown from 22 full-time employees to 300. Because My Thai Lacquers is committed to producing the highest quality items, every step in the production cycle follows strict quality control procedures. We carefully screen the raw materials and test every new design and manufacturing method before implementing full-scale production. This standardization combined with a good work environment has been a winning strategy for My Thai Lacquers.
